In the advanced settings, if I turn the “Wireless off” then Wireless on again, I get the message “This setting will only take effect if the adapter’s power button has been switched on” Is this significant, and is there a power button somewhere that I dont know about? One owner wrote “never mind. Install it and then let it manage your wireless connections. More sleuthing and it may be the “ECS ” from Ive removed IE7 like you, but it still wont work.
